This lens is of superb built quality both physically and optically. I agree that the focusing is not as fast as the Nikon 70-200 VRII lens, but considering almost half the price, this is pretty decent. The image quality is great. The VC works almost as good as the Nikon lens.
Tamron has updated its popular 70-200mm zoom lens with the addition of VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilisation and an USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) autofocusing mechanism.
