I love this lense

At first I was looking for a 24 1.4, but the cost was huge and I couldn't find one with all the accessory pro's I wanted, then I found this, and I decided that it was close enough and the price was good. I made the right choice.

focal length; sharpness; weather resistant

Meh. It's ok for the price. Moderate CA/fringe. Did a side by side with another 35mm and returned this one. If you must have a fx full frame on a budge, it works.

Tamron SP 35 mm f/1.8 Di VC USD

We've already tested the first of the new Tamron lenses; now it's high time to present the performance of the SP 35 mm f/1.8 Di VC USD model. Due to a very quick action of the Polish Tamron distributor, the Fototechnika company, both lenses found the way to our editorial office already at the...

Tamron 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD SP

There's a lot to like in the Tamron 35mm Æ'/1.8 Di VC USD SP. One usually expects the third-party manufacturers to produce lenses that are less expensive than the name-brand manufacturers, but in this case, Tamron has produced a superior lens and priced it for at least as much as its Canon...

A member of Tamron's SP (superior performance) family, this 35mm features a fast aperture of f/1.8 and a focal length which gives it a superb level of versatility... The lens is very well-constructed – if a little bulky – and weighs a reasonable 480g.
