My favorite lens with an amazingly sharp picture, as I wanted. Funny enough price for quality equipment

Doubtful stabilizer; To be honest, his work is almost not visible; If rapid change in focal length gives off an unpleasant \"plastic\" sound

A very sharp throughout the entire range, specific features in the wide-angle, 15 to 22 mm; Chromatic aberrations are minimal and easy to ruling in DxO; Perfect lens for interior and - especially landscapes; Excellent detail, qualitative study of overexposed parts in the sky.

One Year On, An Honest Review.......

I have had this lens now for slightly over a year before I decided to write this review in order to be honest as I can. Now at this point when I read some of the bad reviews about sharpness, I can only assume that they got a a flawed version as I found my version was at its sharpest from F4 to F13.

Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD lens

With a close focusing limit of 28 cm, this lens isn't ideal for shooting close-ups and bokeh is seldom a highlight of fast, wide-angle lenses. Nevertheless, out-of-focus highlights were quite pleasing in shots taken with f/2.8 at the minimum focusing distance.

Review: Tamron SP 15–30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD lens

We've had the Tamron SP 15–30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD lens in the D-Photo office this month and we've been experimenting with what it can do. It didn't take us very long to realize that this lens is a clear competitor for the Canon 16–35mm 2.8 II lens, as one of the few wide-angle lenses on the market...

Constant f/2.8 aperture; Fast; high-torque autofocus; Handles with smooth precision

Some sharpness issues when wide open

My New Favorite Lens!

#sweepstakes - First, let me say I love all of my Tamron lenses, and the 15-30mm has been a great addition. I've had it for about 2 months now, and I've used it almost every time I've gone out.
