bang for the buck
i have been using this lens for almost 6 months and i must say that it is by far the best telephoto i have handled. it has amazing image quality, quick focus using the USD motor, amazing hand holdability due to VR and still is comparatively lighter when mounted.

Pros:
- Very good optical performance
- Good build quality
- Ultrasonic drive
- Effective vibration compensation system
Cons:
- Focusing a little slower than other silent focusing systems I've used
