I am a happy customer. I expected this one to be a very ordinary low budget lens. But its image quality surprised me and I loved the images even though I have used Canon 70-200 L series. Its not weather proof as the L series.

The Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD performed fairly well in our full format test but it is a more desirable lens on an APS-C DSLR. The resolution figures are very high in the scope and that's, at least mostly, across the image frame.

Tamron has produced a telezoom \Lthat delivers in every key area. From focusing through to optical performance, it doesn't disappoint and should meet the requirements of most enthusiasts. Its large size may put off some, but we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and capable telezoom.

Great Lens and good price
Focuses fast and image stabilization works well. I compared the IQ to the Canon 70-200 f4 L and it was close -- very close. A drawback is buying it from OneCall that won't accept returns if opened.

Great Lens
I will not pretend to be an expert, but do own several Nikon cameras and lens. The Tamron SP 70-300mm anniversary edition is one, if not the best lens in my bag. Sharp, Great colors, great bokeh and fast focus, make it a joy to use.
