Tales Of Zestiria is the 15th game in the long running Tales series of games from Bandai Namco 2012 – present, Namco Tales Studio (formally Wolf Team) 1995 – 2011. Alongside the 15 main titles there have been numerous small sequels and spin-offs and there was even a MMORPG which ran for 1 year but...

Review: Tales of Zestiria

Tales of Zestiria is an enjoyable role-playing game despite its flaws. The cast is interestingly developed in animated short stories and the main quest; while the game has some of the best English voice acting for a Japanese role-playing game, despite its cliched narrative.

Tales of Zestiria PS4 Review

Promising signs are at Bandai Namco UK for its Tales of games, as this is the first time a game in the 20 year history of the series has released in both Japan and the UK in the same year.

Amazing Role-Playing With Tales of Zestiria

Hi all! A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to nab a review copy of the latest entry in my favorite JRPG series of all time. It's Tales of Zestiria, and it doesn't disappoint! One word of warning: I'm going to be super obscure when it comes to naming characters and I'm going to be super light on...

Tales of Zestiria

That doesn't make Tales of Zestiria a bad JRPG. It has its dull passages and a tendency for endless exposition, but it's still brighter, more colourful and more immediately fun than any of the recent Final Fantasies, and it's arguably the best thing the genre has thrown up since Ni-No-Kuni.

Crisp anime visuals; Deep combat systems; Engaging characters and story; A big; lengthy tale

Some boring and generic dungeons; Both mind-boggling and over-explained

PS4 Review: Tales of Zestiria

Tales of Zestiria is without a doubt the best Tales game in a while, I was glad to finally get back into the series and it's made me want to get back into the past entries. Some might think they played it a bit safe story-wise and in terms of exploring, but it is a solid RPG from beginning to end...

"Pick up on the cheap"

I'm a big fan of the Tales series, and was really looking forward to this when it came out. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy my time with the game. The game is made overly difficult, with the strength of your characters relying on a convoluted equipment/skill system that's never really explained...

Tales of Zestiria Review

Streamlined American and European RPGs have their place, but I still really enjoy playing a good retro JRPG. There's something about having control over nearly every aspect of my characters that I find particularly alluring.

Fun combat system; Colorful characters; Armatization is fun

Lackluster storyline; Outdated dungeon design; Open world is bereft of interest; Overly-complex stat and skill relationships; Tags
