I bought this product a month ago when I moved an older laptop in my office. So far, I am very pleased with it. I noticed the hub turns itself off some time after the computer has gone to sleep. When the computer is turned back on, the hub stays off, and the ON button has to be pressed.

the price was good when I ordered the main chip inside is a Realtek RTS5411 I am getting USB 3.0 speeds but when I plug it in it causes the other USB 3.0 ports on my laptop to disconnect and re connect and my USB voltage meter shows a complete voltage drop out even with nothing connected to the USB...

Hub has the features and size I wanted for use with my laptop. Most importantly, there's enough space between the USB slots for my larger USBs to fit. Another hub I ordered had to be returned because it couldn't accommodate two of my Toshiba USBs side-by-side.

Tried to change my iPhone and did not work.

My son needed more usb slots, seems as most things nowadays come with a Usb. He's very happy with it. The only downside is the lead is very short but ok for him as it's used in a usb plug.

The second product I've purchased from Novatech in 48 hours. Wanted to fully utilise my 2 available USB3 ports and get optimum transfer speeds from the external HDD caddy (also bought here). Built in circuit protection and neat/solid design/plug & play/USB backwards compatible.
