TP-Link TL-WR702N 150Mbps Wireless N Nano Router
A long time ago Apple released the Airport Express. I have always wanted one of those, and I still kind of do for other reasons. While the Airport Express does more than just WiFi and networking, its price is still a bit high.- VERY portable
- Good price
- Good performance
- Flexible
- Would be nice if it had extended features like AirPlay
System Requirements Microsoft? Windows? 98SE, NT, 2000, XP, Vista? or Windows 7, MAC? OS, NetWare?, UNIX? or Linux
TP-Link 150 Mbps Wireless N Nano Router TL-WR702N
TP-Link's 150 Mbps Wireless N Nano Router (TL-WR702N) is a fully-functioning 802.11n router that's about the size of a pillbox. It's an intriguing-looking little blue and white box that measures 0.7 x 2.2 x 2.2 (HWD). Don't be fooled by the small size.- Ultra-portable, small form
- Good throughput
- Easy to set up as AP and router
- Sloppy documentation
- No USB port as on some competing devices
TP-Link TL-WR702N Wireless N Nano Router review
A wireless router might not be the first thing you pack into a suitcase before travelling, but they can prove very useful. For instance, many hotels offer free internet via Ethernet cable, but charge for wireless internet.
Repeater funct doesn't work. Must reboot it every hour.
Please fix the software with your firmware release. It may be not tested properly before released to the market.- The super price
- UBS powered
- and small form factor are advantages
- Having to power off power on to reboot every hour(s) is very annoying
- The repeater mode doesn't even work when I tested it with Cisco E4200
- I would buy another, highly recommend it, if they fix these problems
TP-Link WR702N review
The TL-WR702N is an ultra-compact router that's similar to the TP-Link MR3020 3G router. This model doesn't have a USB port for a 3G modem, though, so is mainly designed to share a wired Ethernet connection wirelessly, such as in a hotel room.
TP-LINK WR702N 150Mbps Wireless N Nano Router
The simple ideas usually turn out to be the best, and TP-LINK, the networking specialist, believes that it's stumbled on a rather good one in the form of the TL-WR702N 150Mbps Wireless N Nano Router.
all in one and worth it
good product from tplink and its almost all in one like bridge repeater and such multi functions in small device. good for home use.- Easy To Set Up
- Highly Compatible
- Secure
- Small
A total genius behind the design. Access Point, Repeater, Router, and Bridge in this tiny device.
Amazing! Incredibly tiny, yet it has so many functions: repeater, bridge, access point, and client! Best networking product I ever brought. The design behind this small gadget is a total genius.
Very stable and solid but slow.
Very stable and solid but slow. Have had this for a few years for travel and occasionally use it as an extender as in router to homeplug to homeplug to the TL-WR702N. Bought the 803N hoping it was faster but it wasn't.
