Works good.

Before my old wireless card had very low signal from my router. Now with this TP-link card I always have full bars.

Excellent device

This is a very good product. I was initially worried as I ordered PCI Express version of this but had to return it due to my free PCIe slot being blocked by massive graphic card. I thought it would work less efficiently on older PCI link but I couldn't be more wrong!

Yup. It works!

Easy to install on XPSP3. Fast transfer speeds. Total install took about 10 minutes. Would be nice if it was dual band. Oh, well. I did not find their network app to be any better than windows, so I deleted it.
Pros:
  • Easy To Set Up
  • Fast
  • Fast Connection Speed
  • Reliable connection
Cons:
  • No Dual Band

TL-WN951N

http://tplink.com/en/support/download/?model=TL-WN951N&version=V3#tbl_a
Pros:
  • As others have said, once you download the most updated driver from the TP-Link website all runs smoothly
  • I have a Linksys WRT54GL that is 40 feet away and I get full signal.
Cons:
  • It runs slow and drops connection quite often with the driver from the CD
  • If you let windows update find the driver it does the same as well
  • As of today, 8/27/12, TP-Link doesn't show the most updated driver when you go to the "Support" section on their website.

I purchased this unit with an NCIX custom build and it's worked flawlessly. It's being used in a HTPC connected to a router and NAS and it works perfectly from about 30 feet and through an interior stud/gyproc wall.
Pros:
  • Excellent signal strength (typical installation though)
Cons:
  • None
