I live in a house, where the router is located upstairs, and there are many walls in between. I have a laptop, and the signal reception is a total disaster. I got lag when i played games, and some times open up google could take me 1 min.
Pros:
- great signal boost

Ended up sending this back for a refund and purchased Premiertek PL-18N in it's place and WOW am i pleased. I now download at 3.2mb/sec and upload at 3mb/sec. And for note: I tried everything, new drivers, old drivers, cd drivers, windows drivers.. every option possible.
Pros:
- Shows a great signal.
- fools you into thinking you have a great connection
Cons:
- Actual download speeds are bad
- On a 25mbps Upload, 25mbps Download I was only getting 1.2mb/sec (if i was lucky) on download.
- 1.6mb/sec on upload.
- which is roughly less then half the speed I should have been getting..
