Been using this for a year now. Still working great. Rarely loses wifi requiring reset. Not particularly powerful throughout my house, but not worse than the unit it replaced. Setup is easy.

Pros: 1) The device arrived in acceptable time (3 weeks). 2) Easy configuration procedure. 3) Working stable: four weeks from the first "power on" without reboot. Just plug and play :) Cons: 1) The Wi-Fi signal too low after 3 beton(concrete) walls 0.15m.

As a replacement for my old 2Wire router it far exceeds it in quality and speeds, multiple devices (playstation, computers, phones) all connected really easily and worked within my house with no problems at all.

The TP-Link TD-W8980 is a sleek black router made from glossy plastic. This makes it a magnet for fingerprints but as you likely won't be tinkering with it too often this shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Brilliant router with excellent range, covers my whole house easily. Web based user interface to allow you to modify a whole range of parameters. Very easy to set up too.
