TP-LINK TD-W8960N router
I purchased this ADSL modem/router to replace my mother's D-Link that died after a recent line surge. The price is very reasonable for the features offered on the TD-W8960N. The product is well packaged and the setup is extremely easy and user friendly.
Would not recommend this for anyone. Was not able to connect Modem called customer service number that was provided, never was able to get in contact with anyone.
Not att DSL/Router modems are usefull.
The product would not install on my HP PC...after several attempts, I grew weary trying to figure out why the installation would not recognize my ISP. So, instead of repackaging and sending it back (a Hassle), I decided to send it to an E-waste facility a few days later and finally, the unit now is...
Purchased to replace a thomson tg585 modem wireless router combo for teksavvy adsl- not sure if it was the thomson or system under maintenace, but internet was spotty recently and wanted to give something else a try. Appears to be a bit faster, 2 antannae, looks cool.

I bought this product as I was recommended that it is a god router hasn't really solved my issue of lagging but way better then the one I had.

TP-Link W8960N Wireless-N ADSL router review
It comes equipped with four LAN ports and is WiFi b/g/n certified, supporting wireless speeds up to 300 Mbps. Security for the aforementioned WiFi comes in the form of WPA/WPA2 and it even has some parental controls to limit times of availability or to bash certain sites with a ban-hammer.
Don't settle for company modems
Also, I don't like how hot the device gets. It hasn't had any problems but I wish it did run a little cooler. Still, can't complain because that's been the case with every modem I've owned.- Great modem! I wanted something faster and reliable and this fit the bill perfectly
