Got this to wake up a dead area in the conservatory at the back of the house. Plug in next to the router (which is also TP Link connected to Virgin cable modem). Press WPS on both. Five minutes later move extender to limit of router wifi range. Worked straight away. Good signal on both bands.

I have no idea how this thing has so many good reviews. I bought it based on the good reviews and it sucked so now it's being returned. It wasn't even plugged in far from the modem and it was making my wifi even slower. Maybe it's just AT&T internet and it's not compatible I really have no idea.

Other reviewers have done a fantastic job of providing detailed performance measurements, so you should check them out. All networks have different characteristics based on hardware, distance, quality of cable (wired), obstacle density (wireless), etc.

I wish I was able to write one of my usual grand adventures for this review; Alas, it wasn't meant to be an adventure at all; On the contrary, but isn't this one of those products that you want to have as little to do with as possible and let it do its thing?

The only con I've found is there is no logout button for the administration web UI; I have to close my browser to free the session; Other than that, it does what I need it to do; My Android tablet will drop the connection when it transitions which probably has nothing to do with the RE200 at all.

Bought this several weeks ago for my Dad. Installed it yesterday and it received the wireless signal where a competitor's similar product wouldn't, and rebroadcast the signal more strongly. Very pleased with this range extender, as with other TP-LINK products.

First off I will say I am pretty good at computers.. Not a professional but better than most people. The set-up instructions look easy and have nice pictures to go along with the directions.

I set it up without manual has im a person who hates manuals lol.i work it out has i go along.very easy to do plus this item is very good it has helped my signal for my cctv which is very cool very secure.all good password aswell all fab

Wifi extender was easy to set up - selected my wifi network, entered password then moved the extender to a few spots and tested wifi signal. I had weak signal in the back of my house. Now I have a good signal in back. Not much speed drop off when connected to extender according to speedtest.

I was sent this item to test and review it. Upon arrival I noticed it was packed very well and it was simple to open and get started. The package included the wifi extender, all the necessary instructions and an Ethernet cable. Once opened up it is practically plug and play.

I have an old house with plaster walls, some of the rooms had an unreliable wifi signal. I purchased the TP-LINK product and the problem has been resolved. Set up was a bit troublesome, then again anything involving technology is troublesome for me. The process took about 20 minutes.

At first I was sceptical. Once it was set up it was link lightening. Excellent product
