TP-Link Archer AX6000 8-Stream Smart WiFi Router Review

As smart-home devices become more popular, homes around the world are filling up with Wi-Fi signals. Refrigerators connected to Wi-Fi aren't exactly going to tear through your bandwidth. Neither will a Wi-Fi Tea kettle, or a Wi-Fi connected lightbulb.

The Archer AX6000 has a lot going for it. It's very fast on both 802.11ac and 802.11ax, it has all the ports and connections you're likely to want, and it offers a good set of features, accessible through both a responsive web interface and a pretty decent smartphone app.

Fast wireless on both 802.11ac and 802.11ax; Good range of settings and connections; Nicely accessible administration options

Not quite the fastest router out there

Wi-Fi 6 , also known as the 802.11ax standard, is set to take over from Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). It's already found in many modern devices, ...

Strong QoS and parental control; Simple; quick setup; USB ports for external media sharing; Superb performance and range; Eight Gigabit LAN ports

About the size of a dinner plate; Expensive; Might be overkill for your needs
