Having never played or even heard of the original Syndicate for the PC, I had no idea what to expect coming into the game. I checked some trailers and some gameplay footage and it looked interesting enough to give it a try.

This game is quite fun. I've only had time to play through the first few levels of the campaign and have had a great time with it. I would recommend it to those that perfer a more simplified and fun game. I mention this because Deus Ex was, IMO, a big old pain in the ass.
This game is quite different than the original, but it's still a worthwhile experience. The graphics are awesome and the game is really energetic and fun.
It's a question with many answers, but the result in Syndicate is a world where nations and government have become obsolete, and instead the world is controlled by enormous corporations, or syndicates if you will, that fight each other for market shares, and forces their products down the throats of...
Back in 1993, before the world of FPS gaming had arrived, those hoping to maim and kill their way through a game had to do it either top down or isometrically. The trouble with either view is that you are detached from your character – you don't see through his/her eyes, instead you control your...
Sound is stellar, as are the lighting effects; Very good voice acting
Graphical inconsistency; More Deus Ex than Syndicate
Awful bosses, poor story and unimaginative level design bury sexy guns and good looks. Play it in co-op - or don't play it at all
Looks the business; especially in the opening levels; Great guns; including the boil-in-a-suit laser; Promising concept..
..; let down - surprisingly for Starbreeze - by a well-below-par story, Unexciting, predictable level design, Some of the worst boss design in a while
First person shooters are undeniably an oversaturated genre, but the average quality of these games tends to be very good. Unfortunately due to the standards of shooting currently being so high even well refined and fun games are often identified as generic and average.
A confession: I've never played the original and much-lauded Syndicate game, from 1993. So, when I say that EA's reimagining barely progresses beyond mediocrity, I should make it clear that this opinion is not one shrouded by misty-eyed nostalgia.
Rebooting an old but dated classic is a thankless task. How do you keep the old fans happy while making it relevant for today's audience? Is it even worth the effort? Starbreeze Studios certainly thinks so. Their approach to reviving Syndicate has been to ditch pretty much everything.
Reasonably hard but a great game and the graphics are good. You could say it's slightly samey in places but I personally really enjoyed it though. If you're into first person games this could be a good option for you.
