Bought these to use while kayaking. Lightweight, waterproof, excellent glass.

I started shopping expecting to walk out with a pair of binoculars for about $150. But then I tried a pair for 500, and then these for $+. Fortunately my wife was with me and when she got the chance to compare, it was clear that we'd walk out with the Swarovski Companion CL.

I bought these binoculars for when I hunt thick dense country in Colorado. I own the SLC 10x42's and love them, was looking for a lighter weight version. These met the specs. Went with the 8X instead of the 10x for more light during low light conditions.

I had been thinking about purchasing the Swarovski CL Companion 10X30 binocular for some time now. Finally, I bought myself a Christmas present and received them just a few days before the holiday. I have not put them down since!
