I knew as soon as the WiiU landed and I saw footage of Mario 3D World that it was a game I had to play. A long time Nintendo fan I was blown away by Mario 64 and the open world format and this game really seemed to be a next gen version.
"Lots to discover; "Great soundtrack and effects; "Beautifully presented
"Time limit can be punishing
I love Nintendo grew up playing it, and was super excited to get this new system, however after playing for 2 days the Tablet suddenly wont connect to the sensor no matter what re-syncing, power off-on, everything we tried even with calling tech support.
Super Mario 3D World is vibrant, fun and reaches a new level of excellence for the franchise, creating the right kind of cat-astrophe.
Super Mario 3D World was WiiU's 3D Mario title and it was a spectacularly fun 3D Mario game, with gorgeous graphics, solid gameplay and some challenge but did it necessarily offer anything new? To be fair, no, it did not. SM3W mostly improved on what made SM3L great.
I have to say this game looks amazing, and I absolutely recommend it for anyone who is a fan of Mario and/or Nintendo, Cant wait for it!
I honestly didn't think Mario had been doing that great with his games recently. For the past few years, all we had gotten were New Super Mario Bros. games, which were pretty much rereleases of the same game.
Super fun classic gameplay; eye popping graphics; lighthearted catchy soundtrack; enjoyable multiplayer; variety in the power ups (particularly the Cat Suit
Not quite as innovative as Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario 3D World is the missing link between 2D and 3D Mario games and is chock full of more fresh ideas than we've seen from Nintendo in some time. If you own a Wii U, you owe it to yourself to pick this one up.
Simplified take on 3D Mario; Enough challenge for veteran players; Cat Mario; Double Mario; and tons of other power ups; Multiplayer is addictive and competitive
Sometimes difficult to correctly jump; Four-player camera isn't always user-friendly; Storyline is as simple as ever
Super Mario 3D World was admittedly not a title I was really looking forward to upon its first announcement. While I had enjoyed Super Mario 3D Land 's great level design, I felt that a console Mario title would have to be bigger in scale.
Level design's great; multiple playable characters; cool co-op mode; and great graphics
The game's short; bosses aren't always that great
Great game can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. Immerse multi-player that always keeps you thinking. Also tons of extra levels to find and unlock.
