Great game with plenty of content and decent offline multiplayer. Fun throughout.

This game is the reason I picked up a Wii U and I'm not regretting it. Great 3D gameplay like Mario Galaxy, but with 4-player cooperative/competitive multi-player. Cat suit adds awesome special moves. Plus, Mario in HD looks amazing!
Mario is back and for his HD 3D debut on the Wii U. For this outing Mario teams up with Luigi, Peach, Toad and another "secret" character to save the Sprixies Princesses from Bowser.
Fantastic Level Design; HD 3D Mario; Charm and Personality In Spades
No Online Mutliplayer; Weak Story; Familiar Gameplay
It's a sad day when a Super Mario release is met with muted enthusiasm, but that's been the trend regarding our favorite overall'd plumber. Releasing with the seeming regularity of a Call of Duty game, each new addition to Nintendo's flagship franchise is technically and mechanically sound, but...
Every moment is a delight; Multiplayer is actually fun; not frustrating
Painfully brief; Too easy for Mario fanatics
The defining characteristic of the Mario games has, in recent times, become their willingness to bring exciting new ideas into a level, push them, and then immediately abandon them in favour of something new.
Super Mario 3D World sees Nintendo's flagship franchise drop onto Wii U like a megaton, single-handedly giving the system its first must-have title. Taking every idea that's ever worked in previous Super Mario games and blending them with a variety of new, radically original ones, EAD Tokyo has...
+ Remarkable gameplay; + Strong visual presence; + A flurry of new and ideas; + Simply the best Super Mario game in years
- Bosses aren't all that impressive; - Local multiplayer can be frustrating
Can Nintendo continue the Wii U's overdue hot-streak with Super Mario 3D World? It's-a Toby Hills with the verdict.
Classic Mario gameplay; Exceptional pacing and level design; A perfect middle ground between cooperative and competitive multiplayer
Experienced alone; it can't hold a candle to Mario Galaxy 1 or 2
I'll be completely honest from the get go; I'm a die hard Mario fan. Did you know Nintendo sent you an email to congratulate and thank you for getting all 242 stars on Super Mario Galaxy ? I do, because I got one.
This game is so good my kids loved the mario game we played it for so long and its gets you stuck to it
Fun To Play
Years ago when we were told they were pulling their plumber into a 3D world, few believed the essence of the series would be preserved. Yet Super Mario 64 became one of the most acclaimed games ever. The story was the same on Wii with Super Mario Galaxy.
