The sense of fun that Nintendo is so masterful at capturing still beats at the heart of Super Mario 3D World. Mario's latest adventure is planted firmly between the New Super Mario Bros. series and the more conventionally 3D titles such as Super Mario 64 and Galaxy .

Once again Nintendo's plumber is out to save a damsel in distress, only this time it's the Wii U. Peach, Toad and Luigi are along for the ride in the first cooperative 3D Mario game, 'Super Mario 3D World.

I'll be completely honest from the get go; I'm a die hard Mario fan. Did you know Nintendo sent you an email to congratulate and thank you for getting all 242 stars on Super Mario Galaxy ? I do, because I got one.

There are certain games in the video game industry that I just inhale. I play level after level enjoying the experience from the beginning until the end. I look out for secrets, and find all of the stars that I can. Super Mario 3D World is one of those games.

Can Nintendo continue the Wii U's overdue hot-streak with Super Mario 3D World? It's-a Toby Hills with the verdict.

Super Mario 3D World was WiiU's 3D Mario title and it was a spectacularly fun 3D Mario game, with gorgeous graphics, solid gameplay and some challenge but did it necessarily offer anything new? To be fair, no, it did not. SM3W mostly improved on what made SM3L great.

Mario is back and for his HD 3D debut on the Wii U. For this outing Mario teams up with Luigi, Peach, Toad and another "secret" character to save the Sprixies Princesses from Bowser.

Super Mario 3D World is a joy from beginning to end, and is the best game for the Wii U so far. The game features the same perfected platforming mechanics and endlessly creative level designs that fans have come to expect from the icon of gaming.
