Works well, would prefe more heat settings but for the price it is good value.

The kettle does and it is advertised and it does keep the water hotter for longer after a boil. However it should be noted that the kettle is very heavy (specially once filled with water) due to the double layers of glass.

Bought this a few weeks ago and liking it . Easy to see water level funky blue light when boiling

The kettle meets all my requirements and it is fun watching the water boiling through the glass. It is quiet when it is working which is another thing I like about this kettle.
