Steep Review

I enjoyed just about every minute I spent playing . Grandiose, attractive environments serving as the backdrop to varied, intense challenges are enough on their own to make this wintry playground somewhere I was always delighted to go back to and spend more time in - a feeling I still have even...

Xbox One Review - 'Steep'

Buy Steep If you're the owner of an Xbox One and a fan of winter action sports, the field for that genre is almost nonexistent. Snow is still coming to the platform, and the only other title to fit the bill is the problematic Infinite Air with Mark McMorris .

Steep: Winter Games Edition - Xbox One

Thought this was a whole new steep game and it's just some new dlc.. it does add a different feel to the game..but it has not let me use my regular characters or outfits.. which is sort of a bummer..but the slope style competitions are nice.. not the best dlc.. but it has its moments

Steep review

That's Steep. Early on, I was told by Steep's intrusive narrator to pretty much ignore the unlockable challenges and carve the mountain up in search of hidden lines and lonely spaces. This was good advice, even if the narrator immediately contradicted it, and now I pass it on to you.

Steep: Road to the Olympics Review – Testing Your Mettle for Medal

Steep: Road to the Olympics is based on the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics taking place in PyeongChang, South Korea. Ubisoft has decided to narrow the focus of this Winter Olympics game to 12 events featuring Snowboarding and Skiing.

Two new mountains; 12 Olympic events; Interviews with real Olympians

Annoying announcer; Some frustrating technical issues

Steep review

Steep is a massive departure from Ubisoft’s usual open-world formula. There’s a huge amount of content (and mountain) to uncover, but you’re never forced down a particular route. That means you could miss entire chunks of the game if you weren’t paying attention on your rapid descents. You’ve really got to want to find your own adventure here. The wingsuit action is intense and fun, especially from the GoPro view, paragliding offers a chilled break from the action, and the social multiplayer modes are promising too, but on the ground, jumps and tricks don’t come very naturally. Steep is probably too open-ended, and as bit too much of a simulation to reel in casual gamers looking for a bit of arcade action. The thing is, I’m not after a five minute blitz. I want to explore, take in the world at my own pace, and create my own challenges. And on that level, Steep is an absolute blast.

Massive open world ready for you to explore; Loads of courses, slopes and runs to race your mates on; Looks fantastic at speed, especially in FPV;

You’ve got to make your own fun; Tricks and turns aren’t all that responsive; Lacking a bit of personality;
