Steelseries Siberia V2 Frost Blue Review (PC)

USB Headset that will stand out from the crowd Today, I am reviewing the Siberia V2 Frost Blue from Steelseries. Now, I have in the past reviewed the Steelseries Siberia V2, so rather than rewriting the unchanged bits, I thought I would just copy them over and talk more about the bits that have...

Comfortable; sounds great looks even better

Pricey; short lead; bulky USB plug

SteelSeries Siberia v2 – Natus Vincere edition

It's hard to be a PC gamer and not hear of SteelSeries. They're renowned for some of the highest quality gaming peripherals produced today. Partnered with some of the biggest games companies in the world, and sponsoring some of the best professional gaming teams; SteelSeries are hard to avoid.

Comfortable; non-stick ear cups and head-band; Flexible; can be easily stretched and bent; Sturdy; high quality materials means it won't break easily; Retractable mic; easy to hide and on a flexible cable for positioning

Slightly pricey at nearly £60; Uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time

SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset

If you are looking for a wired headset for your PS3, or you are looking for a headset that will work on a number of platforms, then I thoroughly recommend that you take the Siberia v2 headset for a listen. There is nothing chilly about this unit, other than its cool looks and ice-clear sound.

Comfortable and solid build quality; Good bass and treble suits many types of gaming; Multiplatform compatible

A wireless pair of these would be perfect

Steelseries Siberia V2 Limited Edition Headset Review

One of the problems we had with the Turtle Beach headset we reviewed a few weeks ago was despite the fact it's a quality headset the multi-functional persona did mean that for PC users looking to enjoy the experience they had to suffer with a 14ft+ cable next to their desk!

SteelSeries Siberia V2 Frost Blue SE Review

When the PC first stepped away from the beige box and into the world of multiple colour possibilities, the peripheral market was the slowest to take up the challenge of providing hardware that matched your tower.

If there was an award for ' headphones that would suit a Star Wars stormtrooper the most', then the steelseries Siberia V2 would win it hands down - but we're not sure if that's a good thing or not?

SteelSeries Siberia V2 Headset Review

It's very rare that a set of cans, or stonkin' great headphones, will replace my beloved Roland RH300s for any length of time. But the Siberia V2 has done just that. Admittedly, the Rolands are wearing out somewhat from sheer excessive use, so I welcome another set to step in and hold the flame for...
