"Not what I expected"

Great headset apart from one thing – the mic has a strange clicking noise that friends find quite annoying. I thought I just had a faulty one but I got sent a new one and its the same which is a shame because the mic is the reason I brought this and also the cord feels cheap and easy to break but...

... this headset for quite a while now and I love it to bits

Been using this headset for quite a while now and I love it to bits. So comfortable, with very high audio fidelity. There are some cons though: - Mic audio is is pretty bad, actually had people complain when using it.

Good overall apart from the microphone

The headphones them self are great, the metal band at the top seems to be annoying as it vibrates a lot. The only bad thing is the microphone if your looking for even a decent microphone this is not the headset for you, it honestly sounds like I'm talking though a pringles cann.

Mids and hi's are good That's it

Low bass.; Doesn't have very much of it Mic is garbage.; I don't know why it has a mic when no one can hear you; Had the mic inside my mouth and it still wasn't good enough; It's that bad

Very nicely built. I often accidentally sit on them and they stand up to the pressure. The sound is very nice and does produce very nice bass. They supply all connection types and I really like the flat flexible wiring.

SteelSeries Siberia 650 Gaming Headset - Black (formerly Siberia Elite Prism)

Once upon a time I played an online game and found myself in need of both a microphone, and unrelatedly, a new pair of closed headphones for general music listening in the office.

Hardware controls; gaming features are well executed; well built and looks great

Awful output sound quality; bad isolation; can be uncomfortable for long sessions; unreliable (my units; anyway)

SteelSeries Siberia 650 Gaming Headset Review

When it comes to audio quality audiophiles are miles apart compared to gamers since the first are always looking for accuracy, clarity and depth while the second are always after the best possible positioning audio (virtual or real surround) and bass levels so they can enjoy playing their favorite...

- Excellent Build Quality; - Design; - Excellent Audio Quality (Excellent Mids/Highs; - Powerful Bass Levels; - 7.1 Virtual Dolby Surround USB Sound Card (For Some; - Extremely Comfortable; - Noise-Cancelling Uni-Directional Retractable Microphone; - Volume & Microphone Controls; - Colorshift...

Meh

Time to go find another proper, real multi-driver 5.1+ headset. I'll keep this one as a backup in the closet.

- Mostly comfortable; - Works

- Tight fit for a large skull; - Overall comfort seems to be the only thing they focused on; - Sound quality matches a garbage set you can get at less than half this price point; - Cable is flat, thin and will definitely break over time; Appears to have no or little protection.

Great sound quality

This is probably the most satisfied I have been with a product for sound quality. I have not tried the microphone because I have a yeti pro so I can't accurately review the microphone.

Steelseries Siberia 650

I picked up this headset based on reviews I found from various sites. I was choosing between the newer Actis 7 or the Siberia 650. One thing I like about this headset is how light and comfortable it is. The large ear cups easily fit over my ears and help to cut out a lot of the outside noise.
