SteelSeries Sensei Ten

That said, my recommendation comes with a caveat: At $69.99, the Sensei Ten is tied with the Razer Viper for the most expensive wired esports mouse I've tried. The price isn't prohibitively high, but you can get something comparable for less.

Sleek, ambidextrous design pleases both lefties and righties in a household; Precise sensor; Design fit for work or play; Solid software

A bit expensive for the feature set

SteelSeries Sensei Ten mouse review: A revived gaming pointer with an insane sensor

If you've come across the SteelSeries Xai mouse that was out in 2009, this new Sensei Ten will look familiar. That's because SteelSeries kept the same shape, reportedly down to the millimeter, but added modern features, including a brand new TrueMove Pro sensor.

Amazing TrueMove Pro sensor; Comfortable to use; Solid build quality; Profile storage

Design a tad bland; Non-detachable cable

Nostalgia factor aside, you don't need to care about the Sensei Ten's backstory to appreciate its quality. With a comfortable shape (especially for an ambi-mouse), a sleek look, and one of SteelSeries' proprietary sensors, the $69.99 Sensei Ten keeps up with the best competitive mice out there. Fresh-Faced, But Still a Master In a gaming-hardware scene full of sharp edges and hole-punched shell designs, the Sensei Ten keeps things simple and smooth. The eight-button ambidextrous design sticks to the standard button layout: two primary clickers, a scroll wheel, and a resolution-switching button on top, plus a pair of shortcut buttons on each side. The expectation is that you'll use only the p...

The SteelSeries Sensei Ten is a strong esports mouse that looks as sharp as it plays.
