Good for Gaming, Wish I'd Bought Wired

After using these headphones for a few months I can say they are great for gaming - terrible for quiet music. There is an ever-present audible hiss, like static, that is incredibly distracting when listening to quieter music.

At first, I shivered at the thought of a wireless gaming headset costing approximately £300. After all, nobody really needs a headset that costs just as much as the games console that it runs on.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Headset review

The SteelSeries Siberia 840 has been one of the best gaming headset for a while now. And, while SteelSeries has since introduced new wireless gaming headsets, like the Arctis 7, something didn't feel right – it never felt like the audio performance was at the same level, and the lack of the...

Lossless; Hi-Res Certified audio; Convenient dual battery system; Unmatched comfort

The priciest wireless gaming headset; Not compatible with Xbox One; Microphone isolation needs improvement

Arctics Pro,

Well I owned the Arctic 7 and is a fantastic pair of head-phones, But the other day they were having problems with the usb cable being lose and chargering then not. Orderd the Arctic Pro,Has a better and clearer mic and the sound is fantastic. Still have the Chat/game volume button which sold me (always play online with people so is a must for me) Has two batteries so dont have to worry about the usb to headphone charging. Orderd it 10:40am in wellington and was in my hands by 7:19pm from Auckland, Nice Work Mighty Ape!

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Review: The Alpha And Omega For Gaming Heaphones

Choosing headphones is a personal experience. With the exception of your mouse and keyboard, headphones are a peripheral you will physically touch, or wear, more than any other part of your gaming PC. But in this age of wireless being king, has it really improved

They sound great – really; really great; The boom mic is retractable so it won't get in the way; The boom mic sounds fantastic and does a great job with background noise; Setup is very easy

They're expensive; People with larger heads may not find them as comfortable; No hot-swap on the battery (not a major con really)

Headset fits snugly and audio quality is nice. The dual battery idea is great and the unit is simple to use. Too many issues to recommend it though. There's a constant static hiss coming through the headset which, after research, is a design flaw - and the steel series support just gave me a copy...

structural break after 9 months of use

Have had this headset for under a year, the tiny swivel joint that holds the ear cup on broke. The headset itself is solid, great long life batteries and the charging station for them is super handy just extremely disappointing to see these break. Especially at the price point.

Best headphones I’ve ever had

Love that it has two batteries so I never have to worry about plugging it up and charging it by cable, trying to get sound levels right is taking a while at first it seemed to low but I found in settings a sound limit lock turned it off that up it plus you can create your own sound level effect,Only thing so far is that I have a big head so just top of my head was touching the metal frame so my ears weren’t fully comfortable covered I had to bend the metal frame a bit now fits fine , just worried about the side joints snapping like that other fellow said in his review I’ve had it happen with a thew of my previous headphones afterglow, turtle beach and Logitech I hope that warranty covers it

Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset ,Lossless High Fidelity Wireless + Bluetooth for PS4 and PC, S1 Premium Speaker Drivers, AirWeave Ear Cushions, Lightweight Design, On Ear Audio Controls, ClearCase Bidirectional Microphone

The quality of the sound is great especially when listening to music. Bit of white noise when connected to pc and if volume limiter is off, but better if on and when connected through wireless. White noise is only noticeable when no sound is playing.
