Steelseries Arctis 7 Wireless Gaming Headset

The Steelseries Arctis 7 is an excellent wireless gaming headset for an impressive price. At $150, it comes in under the Logitech G933 Artemis, the Astro Gaming A50, and even the Skullcandy PLYR 1 , all while offering very good audio performance across the board and the option to use different...

With a remarkably comfortable elastic band and great, balanced sound, the Arctis 7 is the wireless gaming headset to beat.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless Headset Review

If you've read my past headset reviews, you'll know that the SteelSeries Siberia series has been my ‘go to' headset over the past few years, with my Siberia v2 still going strong after over five years of use.

Comfortable and strong build quality; Good base response for movies and gaming; Clear mic and ChatMix volume adjustment; Built in Share Jack; Adjustable ski goggle band works

Treble in music could be better (requires adjustment; No 2.5mm jack for older Xbox controllers; Not the lightest headset

Steelseries Arctis 7 Wireless Gaming Headset Review

The Steelseries Arctis 7 features just about everything you could want in a wireless gaming headset. It's comfortable, stylish, features a 3.5mm connection for use with wired devices, and sounds very good. At $149.99, it also offers tremendous value for the price. You can get a headset that feels and sounds slightly more luxurious by spending twice as much for the Astro Gaming A50 , but the Arctis 7 is an excellent pick for the price, and our Editors' Choice. Design The Arctis 7 ($289.99 at Amazon) looks surprisingly squat for a gaming headset, thanks to its flattened metal, unpadded headband. A thick elastic strap that runs between the ends of the headband keeps it lifted above your scalp. The strap can be tightened or loosened thanks to a hook-and-loop fastener that keeps it wrapped around the headband. This is the only way to adjust the fit—there are no telescoping sections between the earcups and the headband like on most headphones and gaming headsets. The over-ear earcups ar...

The Steelseries Arctis 7 wireless gaming headset combines solid audio quality, flexible connection options, and a comfortable fit at a reasonable price.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 wireless gaming headset review

The SteelSeries Arctis 7, as we expected, is a killer gaming headset. It features an awesome design, tons of flexibility thanks to the fact that it works both wirelessly and in wired mode, and a pretty great sound quality. Of course, at $150, it has some pretty intense competition.

Good

They have sometimes some small problems with data transferring and are because of the material they are made of a bit warmer than I expected them to be but overall I think they are pretty good so I would recomend them.

Solid headset

+ Overall high quality + Good sounding mic (especially background noise cancelling) + Worked out of the box with my phone + Extra long cable with a jack splitter made it easier to use when on my PC - Headstrap and clamping force low (it slips my smaller head easily if I look down at all) -...

slick, comfortable and great audio quality

really not a whole lot more i can say besides the title! was comparing these with the corsair hs70 pro and ultimately the price match i got from best buy sealed the deal. the biggest takeaway i had before purchasing was how these felt on my egg shaped head.

SteelSeries Arctis 7 review: This wireless headset provides incredible comfort

The SteelSeries Arctis 7 might not be the best-sounding headset around, but it's extremely comfortable and also nets you wireless audio for only $150.

Comfortable; sleek; and stylish; Very inexpensive for wireless audio; Built-in chatmix controls

Headset might not fit the largest of large heads; Mute button is a bit too small and inconspicuous; Audio quality is solidly middle-of-the-road
