It's fun to play at first but after a few hours you get tired of always finding your community food, ect. I just keep letting them die. It gets boring after awhile.

The original State of Decay was a fantastic game, one that had a lot of features people have always wanted from Zombie based survival games, such as an open-world littered with resources needed to sustain a base or community.
fluid combat and animations; Fantastic Music by Jesper Kyd; Choices can be Important; Base Management System
Lacking Content; Buggy with Performance Issues; Limiting PC Version; Co-op seems tacked on; No Visual Identity
In all my years of reviewing video games I've had one core rule – finish the game before reviewing it. Sometimes this means the reviews are a bit on the slow side. Other times this means that my reviews are a bit harsher since I found the story unsatisfying.
Massive open world maps to explore; base building requires strategy; randomly generated survivors create dynamic situations; game difficulty ramps up very smoothly
Bugs, bugs and all the bugs; rate at which infestations spawn is ridiculous; friendly enclaves are far too easy to chase off
Great game, but lacked the substance of a back story. Found it to open ended, hope the dlcs help make it better.
When I was playing the original State of Decay, there was one resounding feeling I had about it. I enjoyed it, of course, but I felt like it could have been so much better had it had co-op. Just the concept, the premise, was so well suited to this type of game. Enter State of Decay 2.
A grotesque and bloated corpse – dead, yet still alive – shambles towards you, groaning gutturally. The dead have come back to life, and … Wait, you've heard this one before You're right, the whole zombie thing is getting a little played out.
Promising core systems; Smashing zeds with car doors
Unbelievably janky; Tedious gameplay; Generic setup
This is a good fun game, I would give it a 5 star rating if the graphics were better
Honestly love this game! Well worth the buy, I do wish you could just continue surviving without having to finish the game, other than that its a brilliant game! Love it!
There are certainly some neat ideas at the core of State Of Decay 2, but the good stuff is almost always drowned out by technical issues and some core...
Oddly compelling gameplay loop; Awesome soundtrack; Some neat emergent moments
Riddled with serious technical issues; Combat simply isn't much fun; Looks pretty awful
Nothing extraordinary but it's a fun and addictive game.
