PlayStation 4 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PS4 JEDI FALLEN review

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order attempts to do a lot, and for the most part it succeeds. The drastic shifts in pace can feel a bit odd at times, but the sheer breadth of care and detail that was put into this game deserves praise.

PlayStation 4 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PS4 JEDI FALLEN review

It may sound reductive, but saying Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was our last hope of EA ever making a decent Star Wars game isn't exactly off the mark.

PlayStation 4 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PS4 JEDI FALLEN review

Fantastic combat; Definite FromSoft vibes; Beautiful visuals; Exploration is fun

Scanning grows tiresome; Substantial technical issues; Platforming can frustrate at times

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order review

If we had to pick a word to describe Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order it would be "safe". Beyond its stunning cinematography and emotive sound design, everything else is serviceable, yet perfunctory, without any truly innovative twists. That said, safe isn't necessarily a bad thing, and thanks to its plentiful platforming and colourful supporting cast, this is nonetheless one of the best Star Wars games of this generation… if not quite as exciting as it perhaps could've been...

BD-1 is our favourite droid by far; Stunning, immersive visuals and sound; Playing with a lightsaber never gets old;

Platforming can be frustrating; Lead protagonist's a little dull; !!!SPIDERS!!!;

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Review

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is far from a masterpiece, but to say it could’ve been one without some of its basic flaws may not be so far fetched. As it is, you can look past the tame story and inconvenient bugs and instead revelling in joyous combat, awe-inducing cinematics and fluid platforming.

Quality Jedi sim; Large-scale cinematic fights; Breathtaking traversal sequences; Pulse-raising boss fights;

Underpopulated worlds; Frustrating first few hours; Baffling performance issues;

Good Game

Currently about half way through this and having alot of Fun. It's a bit like a star wars uncharted game. Combat is solid and requires a bit of thought so it's not your average button mashing hack and slash. Good story that's genuine star wars lore. Would like to be fighting a few more imperials rather than monsters but still got plenty of the game to go. Also happy that there is not a micro transaction or loot box in sight!!!!

Great

Ea finally puts out a game that’s not riddled with micro transactions. Epic game, had heaps of fun jamming this. Best Star Wars game since the original battlefront 2.

Great Star Wars game

It's a good game, it's shorter than what I expected and was very linear. One thing that I don't like however if once you beat the game there is no new game plus, it would have been fun to go back with all the powers and fight bosses again.

Solid story line

Star Wars never fails to produce a great story line to follow. Graphics, gameplay and “what would a jedi do” all add to the immersion. Pity it's only a single player campaign, not much for replayability..
