For a Star Wars fan, it is a good and a bad time right now. There are Star Wars movies releasing again, the shops are full of shiny things and the younger folk now know what a wookiee is.
Janina Gavankar; Graphics; Many varied maps and objective playing multiplayer
Multiplayer progression system; Lack of Star Wars movie music; Movie character facial models
This game does it. It has everything you want as a star wars fan. But the loot crates and daily logins just isn't right. Graphics are great, the sounds are great and battles are great. But I hate loot crates and that's why I gave it 4 stars.
This game simulates epic battles across the entire Star Wars saga, with graphics, sound and grameplay that would have you scratching your head and wondering if you're watching one of the movies. It is an incredibly fun romp across the galaxy.
Disclaimer: EA provided AusGamers with flights, accommodation, and meals for the Star Wars Battlefront II review event. I'm a Star Wars Battlefront apologist . That's the 2015 version I'm talking about because, obviously, the original Pandemic Studios Battlefront games were fantastic.

Electronic Arts makes missteps at every turn in this fundamentally flawed follow-up.
PLEASE NOTE: After weeks of fan complaints, and the intervention of Disney, EA has switched off all microtransactions in Star Wars: Battlefront II. Although they will return, in altered form, at a later date. You can read more about the
Superb graphics and amazing attention to Star Wars detail; Starfighter Assault is excellent and the story mode is a good effort; Plenty of game modes
Offensively cynical (and fiddly) progression system, whose reliance on luck and microtransactions destroys all sense of fairness; Mediocre gunplay
The maps are huge, but can be a bit glitchy at times. The amount of times I have been stuck between things or can't jump over something... eh. It is a fun enough game, with some nice graphics. I dont want the loot crate purchase to come back - but if it does. I will stop playing.
A PlayStation Plus account is necessary to use all features. The digital bonus items are a tiny advantage when beginning online play. Split screen in arcade mode is cool allowing 2 people to play together offline. Leveling up is a grind that is why it's 3 stars instead of 4.
