Despite an issue with an additional feature, I have definitely received what I paid for and it was well on time.

It's been 2 years since EA's first Star Wars Battlefront and in that time they've promised across the board improvements to the criticisms to that title. More content, space battles and a single player campaign top out that list.
The Campaign is short, unremarkable and at times feels like a chore to play. There are times it's fun, and it does a couple of interesting things with the story, but it feels incomplete. This game really shines in multiplayer. The controls are great, but as of right now the progression is slow.
I'll be honest, Star Wars Battlefront II wasn't a game that was on my radar in any meaningful way. I tend not to be a big multiplayer guy, and since that was the primary focus of the first game, I didn't really pay attention when part 2 was announced.
Positives + Gorgeous visuals; + Competent gameplay; + Interesting narrative filled with potential
Negatives - Forgettable missions; - Multiplayer often feels balanced towards paying customers as opposed to everyone; - Greed is gross; This is a $60 game asking you for more money
This game is a good example of publishers putting their dirty mits way too far into the cookie jar. Way too much pay to win Free to play garbage for a AAA premium title. Graphics and sound are good and can create some good cinematic moments.
Publishers are pushing micropayments into our premium games harder than ever before, and Battlefront II might be the most egregious of the lot. The multiplayer progression is wrapped up in a system you can buy into, rewarding players with more powerful abilities depending on how much cash you...
Stunning; authentic Star Wars visuals; Tight multiplayer gameplay; Epic space combat
Stale story campaign; Unclear whether pay-to-win mechanics will return; Progression designed to maximize premium currency purchases
Platform: PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 Developer: DICE Publisher: Electronic Arts MSRP: $59.99 (Disclaimer: This version of Star Wars Battlefront II was tested on an Xbox One X on a Samsung KS8500 4K TV with HDR.
I was do excited that I got a chance to review this absolutely amazing game. Had my eye on this game for me and my husband so this was exciting. First off this is better then the one before this one actually felt like you were playing a star wars game as it came with a campaign ok in which you went...
Captures the nature of star was perfectly however its let down by an complicated online rewards system. The lack of stats such as k/d ratio doesn't help either. This does feel like a star wars game so for any fan of the series i would recommend.
I thought 2014's Battlefront was a fantastic game, and compared to most AAA first-person shooters, it was a lot more approachable for people who don't necessarily play a lot of competitive shooters. For most parts of it, it was as simple as point and shoot.
Approachable and Fun Multiplayer; Space Battles; A Good Amount of Content At Launch; Great Performances; Fantastic Visuals and Audio; Playing as Solo and Lando in Campaign
Confusing Progression System; Random Nature of Unlocks; Inconsequential Main Story; Lacking Mission Structure
