Star Wars Battlefront II

Well.. Not like the Battlefront I that I have played in the past and nothing like the original Star Wars battlefront I and II from Pandemic (2005). The game feels stiff in movements and dynamics. I honestly could not stop laughing at the crate system.

Beautiful to Look at, and Fun to play at times, but SEVERELY Flawed.

You've probably already heard the complaints about the Loot Crates, and yes it's true. The loot crate system is terrible. The game itself is beautiful. The game play is a step up from the previous Battlefront game, especially in the star fighter modes.

"Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." The words of Yoda were echoing in my head as I played Battlefront II. There is certainly no shortage of hatred circulating around this game at the moment and while I will mention that later on, right now I'm going to go the way of the Jedi and focus on...

EA handcuffs again

Alright, keeping this short: The designers took away...the FUN, the choices (fixed hands and non-adaptable configurations), and the good radar (ii's radar is insanely awful, can SEE on-screen before radar picks up??!).

Star Wars Battlefront II

When LucasArts was firmly in charge of developing their own line of Star Wars video games, quality control was a complete crapshoot. Sometimes the developer released winners, sometimes losers, and sometimes fascinating experiments that at least tried to do something different.

Star Wars Battlefront II

The Force is back once again and you my dear friends can experience just how amazing it is to battle your way through the totally awesome Star Wars universe. EA Games brought the first game to life a couple of years ago, however the response to it was varied.

Note: As part of the review process, EA flew me out to California to play Star Wars Battlefront II in a multiplayer setting they had set up. EA's Star Wars Battlefront II is more than a sequel to 2015's team-based shooter centered on the legendary Star Wars films – it's a response to feedback...

Game Review: Star Wars Battlefront II

I thought 2014's Battlefront was a fantastic game, and compared to most AAA first-person shooters, it was a lot more approachable for people who don't necessarily play a lot of competitive shooters. For most parts of it, it was as simple as point and shoot.

Approachable and Fun Multiplayer; Space Battles; A Good Amount of Content At Launch; Great Performances; Fantastic Visuals and Audio; Playing as Solo and Lando in Campaign

Confusing Progression System; Random Nature of Unlocks; Inconsequential Main Story; Lacking Mission Structure
