Extremely Comfortable Yet Elegant

I had already owned a black Pro Controller before purchasing this, so I wont go into too much detail in terms of the controller's purpose and feel other than its extremely comfortable, had much bigger buttons than the Joy-Cons, and that the controller pretty much has all the features the Joy-Cons...

Incredible game

I LOVE this game! My son and I play and now my nephew has a Switch. (Mainly due to this game) I hope Splatoon 3 is in the making.

Splatoon 2 - Nintendo Switch

Splatoon 2 used to be so much fun for me, but it's expensive! Now my Splatoon won't allow me to play online because you have to pay an additional amount to play with others. You can still play solo though. I don't know if anyone has the same problem

Uh... I disagree with every title that says sexy stuff.

Well nintendo has been doing revealing clothing for years now, just why now are people bothered I'm just annoyed Marina is just shown at the start of the game okay. Now to the good stuff. Everyone says that Ooh Marina is wearing way too much revealing clothing.

So fun I bought another copy just for me!

I watched my daughter play this game and started playing it, too, on our family Switch. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a second Switch and another copy of this game just for me! It's a multi-player game, but unlike, say, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, each player needs their own console + game cartridge.

Splatoon 2

Nintendo Switch games have tended to come in two forms. Either we get a ‘definitive' version of a Wii U title, with all the upgrades and new features to take advantage of the latest hardware. Or we get fully fledged sequels and brand-new IPs.

Looks gorgeous both on Switch and TV screen; Multiplayer still a unique and fun offering; Plenty of new guns; each fun to use

Doesn't feel like a full sequel; Can be slow to get into a match

Game Review: Splatoon 2

I must admit, having seen gameplay of the original Splatoon that released on the Wii U back in 2015 and despite it gaining some very favourable reviews, it never really caught much of my attention. I'm not sure why that was exactly, was it to kiddie?

Addictive pick-up and play formula; Offers stress-free online fun from all levels; Singleplayer mode offers some well thought-out puzzle platforming and boss battles; Its fun no matter what mode you play

Levelling up could be less of a grind to reach all important Rank 10

Review: Splatoon 2

Much like the original, multiplayer is where this game really takes centre stage[...] an incredibly simple concept becomes a madcap, fast paced, heart pounding paint fest as you strive until the very last minute to cover as much ground as you possibly can.

Immensely fun; Great single player and mini game; Easy to join in; hard to master; Updates due consistently; Local multiplayer

Issues not resolved from original; Possible options hidden behind Amiibo; More like version 1.5 than 2

Splatoon 2 review – new coat of paint

It barely classifies as a sequel, but even if you've played the original this is still one of the best online shooters ever made.

The whole concept is perfectly realised in terms of gameplay, presentation, and controls; Great map and weapon design; Salmon Run is fleeting but entertaining

Almost no substantial new features compared to the original; Still too few maps at launch and the single-player remains unengaging

Splatoon 2 is the shooter you didn't know you needed

Splatoon 2: Nintendo's unusual IP is back, and it's more than just a cosmetic upgrade

Sequel builds on best qualities of its predecessor; Unexpectedly skill-based; Plenty of content to dig your teeth into
