I love the smell of white phosphorus in the morning

As Dubai is hammered by sandstorms and all travel in and out of the city cut off, a message from Colonel John Konrad reaches military informing them the attempted evacuation has failed. Enter one Captain Martin Walker.

Mature and engaging story; wonderful setting; character development; soundtrack; aesthetic; replayability

Publisher forced multiplayer mode that was outsourced and disowned by main devs; most choices don't actually matter

Fun yet kinda disturbing

Fun yet kinda disturbing game if you know the story it shows the decent into madness and how even the most noble and righteous man in combat can lose his sanity and do despicable things he thinks are right at the time .

For some reason this game made my xbox screen freeze, check other games no problem. Must be a defect in program or some thing .Called microsoft they could not fix the problem either so sent game back. but i will say this, played it on a friend's xbox really liked it when it works.

"Spec Ops: The Line" is the ninth game of the franchise dating back to PC, 98, and is produced by 2K Games, using the Unreal Engine 3. The story is set in a Dubai devastated by a sandstorm, 6 months ago: some of the city's population escaped, but many were left behind in this chaotic and anarchic...

Game Review: Spec Ops The Line [Xbox 360/PS3/PC]

I'm willing to bet that anybody reading this review of Spec Ops The Line is a fan of military action, and so I am willing to bet that anybody reading this has seen Apocalypse Now .

Spec Ops:The Line

It may not be winning any awards, that's not to say that this is one of the most captivating shooters currently available to Xbox 360 users. The morality of your choices has never been so well presented as they are in Spec Ops: The Line and for that reason alone it's a game that everyone should...

Thought Provoking Story; Tactically Enjoyable Mini-Battles; Worth A Few Play-Throughs

Dead Online; Visually Sub-Par At Times

Spec Ops: The Line review: A smart, compelling, but confused shooter

The thoughtful philosophy can go AWOL when the guns come out, but at least when they do, the fun doesn't follow.

Slick; varied; intelligent shooter; A great setting; brilliantly realised; Intriguing Heart of Darkness retelling

Relentlessly; perhaps excessively; brutal; The story can't decide whether death is meaningful or meaningless; Multiplayer is solid but unspectacular

Spec Ops: The Line Xbox 360 Review

This generation of gaming has sure seen its fair share of first and third-person modern military shooters. I've got nothing against these games; I just wish developers would change the themes and settings to something that isn't part of this "genre standard" anymore.

Spec Ops: The Line 360 Review

When video games are described as provocative, it usually means they have found a way to further their joyous dance with violence and promiscuity. Spec Ops: The Line has a different agenda though, which is that it has an agenda -- not the usual prerequisite for most entertaining shooting games that...
