"If you find yourself in the center of the Venn diagram of "people who enjoy South Park" and "people who enjoy turn-based RPGs" then South Park: The Fractured but Whole and its predecessor The Stick of Truth are both must-play video games." © 2017 Ubisoft, Ubisoft San Francisco. Consistently funny writing; outstanding representation of the world of South Park; amusing subversions of RPG ideas and situations; combat and class systems with surprising depth

Fewer good jokes than Stick of Truth; South Park humor is hit and miss; a few noticeable glitches; reckless endangerment of cats

PS4 Review: South Park: The Fractured But Whole

The Stick of Truth has to be one of the most brutally hilarious games I have played in years, mixing classic South Park characters dressed up in LOTR/GOT costumes and completing quests as the new kid in town.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Picking up directly after South Park: The Stick of Truth , South Park: The Fractured But Whole sees Cartman interrupting the ongoing Medieval-themed playtime shenanigans of South Park's fourth-grade schoolboys by telling them that they'll be playing at being superheroes.

PS4 Review - 'South Park: The Fractured but Whole'

Buy South Park: The Fractured but Whole South Park: The Fractured But Whole follows up moments after the end of the South Park: The Stick of Truth . The New Kid's reign as king lasts a few scant moments before the kids get bored of playing fantasy games and move on to playing superheroes.

Bigger, Longer, And Improved

Since it began airing in 1997, South Park has challenged what a television show should be. It killed a recurring character every episode during its early years, and had a series retrospective clip show episode in the middle of its second season.

Like the comic book movies it parodies, The Fractured but Whole isn't perfect, but it'll make you smile. I've told and re-told the old chestnut about how part of my first purchase with my first paycheque was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night .

Ultimately, I believe that The Fractured But Whole has a problem with quantity over quality. Ubisoft San Diego crammed the game with lots of things to see and do, most of it comes off as a result of someone repeatedly asking, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if we put this in

South Park: The Fractured But Whole Review

Wrecked 'em.

Deep RPG systems; Character progression is great; Visually stunning

Battles can get repetitive; Is a bit easy; Outstays its welcome a tad

South Park: The Fractured But Whole review – Bigger, Longer & Uncut

A surprisingly deep and customisable role-player, wrapped in an enjoyable but unremarkable episode of South Park.

Combat has become one of the game's biggest positives, even if it does still feel heavily inspired by other titles; Some truly excellent boss battles with imaginative twists on combat

Story feels a little weak in comparison to the barmy Stick Of Truth; Superhero theme feels like a missed opportunity

South Park: The Fractured But Whole – review

The Stick Of Truth finally gave us a South Park game that was actually good . Following a similar formula, The Fractured But Whole (did you spot the subtle play on words there) looks to replicate that success.
