Sony Xperia S review
The Sony Xperia S looks good and packs a decent set of hardware components, including an excellent screen and camera. Aside from the standard Android complaint of abysmal battery life, the phone is let down by its main control buttons – a triumph of art over function – and cluttered and out-of-date...

Sony Xperia S
The Sony Xperia S has an undeniably gorgeous HD screen, high-quality audio, an impressive camera and plenty of clout. But it's let down by clunky handset design and software that could be more streamlined.
Cons:
- Needs an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich
- Clunky handset design
- No microSD card slot

Sony Xperia S
A decent all-rounder with a fantastic screen and a very reasonable price tag undermined by unacceptable battery life

Sony Xperia S review
In the end, you're left with a phone of decent design, though sporting a few questionable decisions. It boasts excellent internals and performance, a great screen and good battery life; but it has a lackluster camera and unimpressive and generally unnecessary software tweaks.

Sony Xperia S review
The Sony Xperia S is the firm's first handset to ship since it bought out Ericsson's stake in the joint mobile venture earlier this year. It's an attractive device with some nice design features, and is likely to become a lot more attractive from April onwards, when the handset is due to be getting...
Pros:
- High-quality display
- great camera
- good for multimedia
- decent storage
Cons:
- Poor battery life
- large form factor awkward for typing

Sony Xperia S
The Sony Xperia S is definitely one of the more stylish phones out on the market, with its angular body hosting a beautiful LED screen. However, it falls short on the OS, which is outdated and encumbered with unnecessary software.

The Xperia S has a great 12.1-megapixel camera, but is let down by its screen and lack of Android 4.0

Sony Xperia S review
The Xperia S is a solid ‘first' Android smartphone from Sony, but there are a few too many foibles for us to recommend it - particularly at this price. Shipping with Android 4.0 ICS would certainly lift our opinion, but we doubt the imminent upgrade will improve the weak battery life, or sort out...

We're also nonplussed that the battery can't be removed. We aren't fans of any handset which has a non removable battery. Overall, though, there are more plusses than minuses with the Xperia S, with a decent camera and fantastic screen perhaps showing the way ahead for Sony in future.

Good experience
I was using this phone for more than 1 year. There is no major complaints about this model. Sony is a trustable brand for quality and price also quite affordable. Pros: Phone has a good clarity in pictures. music and sounds so clear.
