Sony Xperia S Review
Sony parted company with Sony Ericsson last year, so we have been waiting with bated breath to see what kind of handsets the Japanese manufacturer would produce on its ownsome. And the good news is that the first device to come out of the Sony stable is a nicely designed handset with a great snapper...
Pros:
- Great snapper
- clear bright display
- handy NFC tags
- nice design
Cons:
- No Ice Cream Sandwich on board yet

Sony Xperia S NXT series Android smartphone
Sony's first phone post-Ericsson is an accomplished, handsome, speedy powerhouse which does most things well. Although it currently lacks Ice Cream Sandwich, it offers genuine innovation, like the NFC Smart Tags, a more-than-decent camera and a splendid display.

Sony Xperia S
So Sony has finally rid itself of Ericsson for its phone division, and the first flagship phone of this new Sony brand is the Sony Xperia S. With a high resolution screen and fancy 12-megapixel camera, it should be a contender for our favourite Android phone, but to our minds it hasn't quite done...
Pros:
- Simple comfortable design
- HD screen is great
- Good overall performance
Cons:
- No expandable memory
- Camera is way below expectations
- Screen and design don't quite set our hearts alight

Sony Xperia S smartphone review
The Sony Xperia S isn't perfect, but it is a very capable and feature rich handset. Some may be annoyed by the lack of microSD card slot, but with 32GB of on-board storage, most users should be well catered for.

"Review: Sony's Xperia S Thrives In Quad-Core Shadows"
Sony's Xperia S comes with a feature-set akin to the heavy weight flagships of yester-year, so why is it all the better for it?
Pros:
- Thought out design
- Great multimedia
- Social software
Cons:
- No ICS out of the box
- Tall
For a smartphone distinguished by a 4.3 inch screen, the Xperia S is a giant. It stands as tall as Samsung's Galaxy Nexus, and that's big considering the latter has a larger 4.65 inch screen.
Pros:
- Thought out design
- Great multimedia
- Social software
Cons:
- No ICS out of the box
- Tall
