For a smartphone distinguished by a 4.3 inch screen, the Xperia S is a giant. It stands as tall as Samsung's Galaxy Nexus, and that's big considering the latter has a larger 4.65 inch screen.
Pros:
- Thought out design
- Great multimedia
- Social software
Cons:
- No ICS out of the box
- Tall

An Xtraordinary Android
Sony's first smartphone since it parted ways from Ericsson, the Xperia S, is a feature-packed premium Android smartphone. SLOW: While the rest of the phone feels fine, the capacitive buttons on the bottom of the phone are tiny and not very responsive.

- Nice 4.3in screen
- good 12.1-Âmegapixel camera with very fast startup time
- SmartTags are handy
Cons:
- Runs on an older OS
- capacitive buttons are not responsive
- poor battery performance
- doesn't play classic PlayStation games

Sony Xperia S
When it comes to Sony (they've lost the Ericsson now), you just know their phones are going to look sexy before you even set eyes on them, and the Sony Xperia S is no exception. Sleek, skinny and shiny, the Xperia S is a seriously good-looking phone, but it's not all style over substance.
