Nice offering from Sony

Overall beautifully designed. Looks impressive. I like it's looks better than Galaxy S3. Fast responsive touch interface. No lag. Good 12 MP camera. BTW, it's the only one offering a 12 MP camera. Haven't compared it's picture quality with others though.

Sony Xperia S review

As tech consumers, we've currently got a rather odd 'problem': there's just too much good stuff out there. Nowhere is that more true than with phones; the adoption of Android, fast processors and uniformly smart looks means it's hard for anything to stand out. Take this phone, for instance.
Pros:
  • Powerful and fast
  • Good stills and full-HD video
  • Decent media/app hubs

Sony Xperia S review

Could the Xperia S be your first Sony-branded phone? It you're all about media consumption, and if you're prepared to wait while Sony makes its cloud-based platforms more coherent, then the Xperia S is a great device. The display and the speaker are absorbing and addictive.
Pros:
  • 1280 x 720 LCD is perfect for movies
  • Decent performance and battery life
  • Brings Sony vibes (and media) to your phone
Cons:
  • Chunky with weak build quality
  • Camera output is only superficially good
  • Sony ecosystem needs to be more cohesive

loving it!

Great phone, amazing resolution, takes some great pictures when the lighting is good, and I just cant get enough of the transparent bar! The only drawbacks would be that the battery life is not great, I use my phone alot and am having to charge it on average 3 times a day.

Sony's Xperia S hits the right notes [Review]

It was the hypnotic, blue background swirl of the Xperia S which first drew me in. Like staring into the night sky, digital ribbons flux merrily on a 342PPI display.

Sony Xperia S Review

Sony really needs to push the ICS updates out of the door, very quickly. The Xperia S seems to have everything in place - good hardware, excellent build quality and design and a very good display. However, Sony needs to get the UI sorted.

The Sony Xperia S is more than just a smartphone. Its large touchscreen makes it quite convenient. It runs on Android 2. but we can upgrade to ICS. It is really recommended for all.
