Sony Xperia P

The Xperia S is another solid Sony smartphone, with great extras like NFC and HDMI. It's place in the market is complicated by a recent price drop for the Xperia S, though, which is now around AU$50 more expensive than the P at the time of publishing this review.

  • Sharp
  • aluminium design
  • Good
  • 4-inch display

Cons:
  • Below-average battery life
  • Non-expandable memory
  • Non-replaceable battery
  • Xperia S is only AU$50 more expensive

Sony Xperia P review: Sony Xperia P

The Xperia P is a solid Sony smartphone, but with the Xperia S costing only AU$50 more, we'd suggest that you think about spending the extra money. Every family has the golden child. The one who gets the good looks and the secret favour of their parents as a result. The Xperia P is that child in the 2012 Xperia family, and although it's positioned as being a more affordable option than the flagship Xperia S, it has the looks to be an eye catcher in its own right.
Pros:
  • Sharp, aluminium design. Good, 4-inch display. Sony's NXT UI is slick and intuitive as any on the Android platform.
Cons:
  • Below-average battery life. Non-expandable memory. Non-replaceable battery. Xperia S is only AU$50 more expensive.

I am a very big believer of sony company because of it's sound quality and picture quality, but when I buy sony xperia P , I come to know that there is no such quality in this phone compare to thier popularity because at this price all company's phone give that much quality assurance.

  • WhiteMagic display is a revelation
  • High-quality camera
Cons:

Sony Xperia P Review

Assuming the update to Android 4.0 comes through for everyone with the P (some users have gotten it already), it could be a good option for those looking for a smaller handset.
Pros:
  • Super bright WhiteMagic screen
  • Compact size is a plus
  • Voice calls sound good
  • Sleek Sony design
Cons:
  • Button layout uncomfortable
  • Android 4.0 update still pending
  • No microSD
  • Crappy front camera
