Sony Xperia P
The Sony Xperia P occupies the mid-range of Sony's Xperia series, placed above the smaller-screened Sony Xperia U and below the highly-specified Sony Xperia S . Indeed, it lacks the 12-megapixel camera and 1.5GHz dual-core CPU and larger 4.3in screen of the Xperia S, but its 1GHz dual-core CPU,...

The Xperia P is an attractive phone. The sleek front, the transparent edge and the aluminium back side give it a very classy look. The large number of buttons and connectors on the side detract a little bit from this.

Sony Xperia P Review
Assuming the update to Android 4.0 comes through for everyone with the P (some users have gotten it already), it could be a good option for those looking for a smaller handset.
Pros:
- Super bright WhiteMagic screen
- Compact size is a plus
- Voice calls sound good
- Sleek Sony design
Cons:
- Button layout uncomfortable
- Android 4.0 update still pending
- No microSD
- Crappy front camera

Sony Xperia P review
Sony's Xperia range offers a wide choice of smartphones for all needs and budgets, including the high-end Sony Xperia S and the sleek and affordable Sony Xperia U. The Sony Xperia P sits in the middle and proves an impressively feature-packed handset that offers good value for money.

Review: Sony Xperia P (Updated)
The gadget's 4" scratch-resistant screen has pixel dimensions of 540x960, giving it a good pixel density of 275 ppi. Sony claims that with its WhiteMagic tech , the display offers double the brightness when compared to normal LCDs.
Pros:
- Excellent design
- Sturdy build
- Great sound quality
- Feature-packed camera
Cons:
- Poor display contrast

Excellent Device
- Be aware that upgrading your Xperia P to ICS will take at least half an hour. During the process, the phone will be in Recovery Mode. I strongly suggest you do not touch the device or attempt to reboot out of impatience. While I am not guilty of this, I can only imagine what could go wrong.
Pros:
- - The WhiteMagic display really does have a positive impact on outdoor usability/legibility, and the screen is spectacularly bright indoors
- 40% brightness (auto-brightness off) gets me what most other phones offer at 100% - The pixel density on this phone is awesome.
Cons:
- - On the subject of charging, you'll have to do it an awful lot if you use wifi regularly
- The battery is only 1305mAh

Sony Xperia P review
The Xperia P is a more user-friendly sized, better designed and more attractively priced version of the Xperia S. Although the specifications aren't astounding and the software is yet to be brought into 2012, we like the device.

Sony Xperia P
The Sony Xperia P rolls out in the middle of Sony's line of NXT handsets following the separation from Ericsson. It is mid-range both in terms of specs and size, but falls into an extremely competitive market.
Pros:
- Unibody feels solid
- plenty of power under the hood
- good camera performance
Cons:
- Poor battery performance
- display doesn't look natural
- some UI quirks make this phone feel a little dated

Sony Xperia P Review
When Sony said they were going to focus heavily on their smartphone game post the break-up with Ericsson, they weren't kidding around. After the arrival of the Xperia S , the first Sony-branded phone to hit the streets, we now have a fleet of Xperia handsets covering all major price brackets, while...
