Sony Xperia P mid-range Android
handset to arrive in the UK. The company's flagship S model prompted a slightly lukewarm response when launched but the Xperia S sets its sights lower as a mid-range handset on a par with the Samsung Galaxy S Advance and HTC One V.

Sony Xperia P Review
The Xperia P sits squarely in the middle of the new Sony Mobile NXT range. The Xperia S has a 4.3″ screen (720×1280), this Xperia P has a 4″ and the Xperia U gets a 3.5″.

Sony Xperia P review: Sony Xperia P
The Xperia P is a solid Sony smartphone, but with the Xperia S costing only AU$50 more, we'd suggest that you think about spending the extra money. Every family has the golden child. The one who gets the good looks and the secret favour of their parents as a result. The Xperia P is that child in the 2012 Xperia family, and although it's positioned as being a more affordable option than the flagship Xperia S, it has the looks to be an eye catcher in its own right.
Pros:
- Sharp, aluminium design. Good, 4-inch display. Sony's NXT UI is slick and intuitive as any on the Android platform.
Cons:
- Below-average battery life. Non-expandable memory. Non-replaceable battery. Xperia S is only AU$50 more expensive.

Sony Xperia P Review: Does Sony's White Magic Cast The Right Spell?
The Sony Xperia P has had me rubbing my eyes and scratching more than once over the last week that I've been living with it. Not because it's amazing, but because it's deeply vexing.
