Sony Xperia ion review
It's been over five months since we first saw Sony's Xperia ion for AT&T, an Android device with LTE and a lot to prove. The Xperia line hasn't had much success here in the US, thanks in no small part to delayed launches and underwhelming hardware.
Pros:
- Great 720p screen
- Solid
- well-built
- LTE
Cons:
- Android 2.3
- Camera doesn't live up to its megapixels
- S3 processor

Sony Xperia ion
The Sony Xperia ion is one of the most powerful Android smartphones available in its price range. The only problem with it is that it is driving an older version of the Android software, one that is more than one clean step behind the latest flavor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

A fairly unknown model (in Sweden) from Sony that should be more popular because it is a wonderfully friendly and affordable phone. Large, crisp screen, good camera and it is stylish. Call The sound is brilliant and the reception on the FM radio is also top notch.

The Xperia Ion LT28a cell phone is no longer sold by Sony. This makes it an excellent value, having all the features needed for my purposes. I use the phone for calling, WiFi for all services requiring internet access. I have no need for 3g/4g.
