Sony has managed to get a winner by its side with the Xperia ion in terms of performance. Where it does come up short is in price. At Rs 35,999, it is right alongside quad core driven devices like the HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy SIII and is actually more expensive than LG's Optimus 4X HD.

Sony Xperia Ion (AT&T) review: Elegant smartphone stumbles
The $99.99 Sony Xperia Ion looks like a good Android deal but its weaknesses make it not worth even the budget price.
Cons:
- Lackluster images and video belie the Xperia's claimed 12MP camera
- It's also held back by an old processor and an outdated OS

Sony Xperia ion Review
Six months ago back at CES, Sony managed to surprise us with the introduction of its flagship Android smartphone in the Sony Xperia ion . During the time, we were undoubtedly captivated by its stellar specs sheet that consisted of a large 4.6" HD display , 4G LTE connectivity, dual-core processor ,...
Pros:
- Killer $99.99 on-contract price
- Sharp looking HD Reality Display
- Sturdy construction
- Heavy with Multimedia
Cons:
- Running Gingerbread
- Jerky web browsing
- Questionable battery life
- Unresponsive capacitive buttons

I was happy with my ION being my first Android phone, but when I was able to hold a faster, much bigger phone, and with the battery issue, I switched to Samsung. If I hadn't discovered the Note, I wouldn't have changed to Samsung.

Sony Xperia Ion review: an Android handset with a split personality
Sony's Xperia Ion is a dependable device that heavily plays up HD, but falters with a mix of old and new specs.
Pros:
- Gorgeous 720p display
- HDMI out experience is intuitive
- Battery life holds up well under daily usage
Cons:
- Build makes for uncomfortable fit
- in hand
- Inconsistent LTE speeds
- Ships with outdated Snapdragon S3 processor and Android Gingerbread

Item NOT as Discribed. Not an LT28i. You will receive an LT28at
The item as described, claims to be an LT28i, but none of the sellers that are using Amazon to fulfill the item are actually selling an LT28i. What is being shipped is a left over AT&T phone that is an older model and the package is being opened so that the phone can be unlocked.

A great buy for a first try
This is my first smart phone. Didn't know what to expect. I , no we love the phones. So many features. The size is perfect resolution even better. Sometimes when I don't feel like booting my laptop I use my phone. As a matter of fact I forget we even have a desktop and laptop in the house.

Lightweight
All products work absolutely fine, however they are very lightweight and will not take any heavy handling. Like I said, it all works... but usually you get what you pay for and this was inexpensive.
