Sony WF-C500 review

Yes, making the WF-C500 so affordable has led to compromises - but Sony’s kept them to a minimum, and delivered a very perky sound from very comfortable earbuds. They’re far from your only choice, mind you, with lots of competing budget wireless earbuds on the market.

Informative, organized and lively sound; Neat and comfortable; Proper control app; ;

Battery life is nothing special; Could sound both deeper and wider; Not short of rivals

Sony WF-C500 Review

Like most other models under $100, Sony's WF-C500 true wireless earbuds don’t offer extensive weatherproofing or active noise cancellation (ANC). But for $99.99, these earphones sound fantastic, and you can customize their audio performance via adjustable EQ. There's a surprising amount of competition in this price range, including the $79.99 Anker Soundcore Life P3 and the $79 Jabra Elite 3, both of which offer unique strengths, including active noise cancellation (Anker) and a more rugged design (Jabra). But Sony's earphones arguably provide the strongest sound quality of the bunch, making them a worthy alternative for audio-minded buyers.Simple Design, (Mostly) Intuitive Controls Available in black, the WF-C500 earbuds are relatively compact, but fit securely. The on-ear controls are novel—each earpi...

The no-frills Sony WF-C500 true wireless earbuds deliver excellent audio you can tune to your liking for a relatively low price.

Affordable; Excellent audio with rich bass and crisp highs; In-app EQ can deliver dramatic results, including seriously boosted bass; Water-resistant design

Weak battery life (for the charging case); On-ear controls can be difficult to operate

Great headphones

I have trouble with ear buds but these ones fit great. The battery lasts for ages. Ive had for 2 weeks, using most days and have only charged them once before the first use.

Sony wireless earbuds

Good headphones, sound is more tinny than I expected considering I used apple wired earbuds before this and they had a better sound for half the price. However, they connect to Bluetooth instantly, the charge and use time is excellent and they are comfortable to wear.
