Sony MDR-ZX770BT

With so many new wireless headphones resembling luxury design products, the Sony MDR-ZX770BT seems a little out of place. First off, at $149.99, it's fairly affordable in comparison with many of the latest leather-and-brushed aluminum Bluetooth options.

Clean, crisp audio performance with rich bass and no distortion at top volumes; Comfortable over long listening sessions; Relatively affordable

Bass might be too light for some; Design is a bit drab; Light on accessories

Practical & Affordable for audiophile who travels alot

Light & comfy . Excellent bluetooth/NFC connection.

Wirelessness; comfy wear; right amount of NC when needed

confusing ways to select modes; disruptive NC analysis function

Sony MDR-ZX770BN Review: Bluetooth Headphones

It's no secret that Sony knows how to make a good pair of headphones. Such is the case with the $229 MDR-ZX770BN. These wireless noise-cancelling cans prove that you might not be able to have it all, but you can come pretty close.

Balanced; clean audio; Good active noise cancelling; Long Bluetooth range; Easy to use controls

Could be louder in most cases; Calls sound muffled and distant

Fully satisfied

I wanted something to block some lawn mower noise while cutting the grass. These do as good a job as I would think possible, you'll never eliminate it. It makes listening to some good tunes enjoyable while mowing, I have tried other headphones with terrible results, usually too much mower noise and...

Easy BT pairing and the volume / playback controls are simple; once you learn them

Maybe my ears are big; but I think the ear cups could be a bit larger

Highly satisfied!

Bought this as a birthday present for my brother and he is loving the headphones. He comments that the quality of sound and the noise canceling is great and he uses it on his commute on the train daily.

Sony MDR-ZX770BT review

It's a difficult task to stand out in the headphone market these days. Having a killer feature helps, be it awesome sound performance or wireless capabilities. But value remains the most important item on many listeners' checklists. The more packed into the offering, the better.

Great Headphones

Received these as a Christmas gift. Use them in the office to reduce the external chatter and general noise in the open plan environment. Really comfortable to wear and a rich sound quality.

Most Accurate Bluetooth Headphones

These headphones sound really great and accurate compared to the very skewed sounds of other bluetooth headphones (Beats, Bose, etc). My only complaint would be that they feel slightly plastic-y/cheap (but understandable based on price) and that they don't really have a good battery indicator so...

Accurate Sound; Comfortable; Easy To Set Up; Good Audio; Light

Bad Battery Indicator; Cheap Feeling

Just refuses to work as a headset. Very frustrating.

Connects via bluetooth and shows up under connected devices but beyond that does not work. Every other device I've connected like this works just fine. Even my old ass Jabra from 6 years ago worked seamlessly with my android and my pc after pairing.
