I needed some decent headphones and was reluctant to shell out so much but on sale at under $160.00 I thought it was worth a shot and I am so glad I did! Having previously tried the rf/ir variety I knew digital would be an enhanced experience and was pleasantly surprised at the difference they make.

This item works, the volume rocker is a bit fiddly (could be bigger) the sounds through the headphone are remote from the sounds from either side of the T.V. and I am three meters away with the sounds direct in my ear, the difference in distance.

I purchased these to watch a television we have set up within earshot of another, as my wife doesn't like the grand prix in the background of one born every minute :-) The sound quality is very good, and although the range isn't amazing if you're moving into adjacent rooms whilst listening to music...

The headphones fit well and the audio quality is fine but the wireless mechanism lacks finesse. We used the headphones about 4 feet from the tv but we still had interrupted sound transmission. Im not sure it is a problem with this device per se or the produce we received was defective
