Frustrating compatibility off camera

I have had by HVL-F60M for awhile now, and it works fairly well on camera (except when it overheats and doesn't). It has easy to use functions and is solidly built. As other reviewers have alluded to, it fails miserably when you are trying to use this (as many pros do) in a wireless off camera...

Considering the price for the bundle is $100 less than the normal cost of the flash alone, this was a no-brainer for my Sony A99. I do consider the HVL-F60M's inability to operate with a radio trigger to be a real detriment, but otherwise I really like it. Well designed and well built.

Good flash, but overheats too easy

this is a well made and well designed flash, but the biggest flaw so far has been the overheating issues which affect it far too quick .. this makes it almost unusable for weddings or events that might need to take a lot of pictures.
I'm not talking rapid bursts, just standard shooting

Its a great flash, very powerful with the ability to adjust the bounce. HOWEVER it overheats and shuts down after only a short time of intensive use. Its not just my unit doing this, search the web and see many other complaints

Sony HVLF60M flash TOTAL WINNER

I have used the Nikon system of flashes for years with varying high end Nikon digital and film cameras, sb-28dx sb-80dx sb-800. I have always found them to be of superb quality and function.
