The Sony Zeiss Distagon T* FE 35mm F1.4 ZA is another excellent 35mm prime lens for Sony mirrorless cameras. It's a focal length at which you have two other choices, but each is unique and fills its own niche.

To make it short: most things about this lens are great. It's corrected beautifully and center sharpness is nothing but breathtaking. But I tried 3 lenses and all of them had one really soft corner (it was always another corner).

I've been using the lens since the day I bought it and can't get it off my camera. Its just too perfect! The declick feature is just so convenient if I want to shoot videos. The lens is so sharp and the bokeh on this one is on unreal.

Superb... build quality, optical quality surpass my expectations. Does it have a noticibly soft right side Not a clue, i aint goint to photograph under synthetic testing situations to find out, i never have with any lens, im not looking for fault.

Can't add anything new than what others have said about the incredible sharpness and bokeh of this lens. Best lens I own so far. My comment will rather be around the weight of the lens.

Love this lens for weddings! Allows me to shoot from afar with clear and crisp images!
