I long awaited update to KM a7. A good camera coupled with the 16-50 f2.8 lens in the right lighting conditions. High ISO performance is poor at best and anything above ISO800 is not usable.

Sony has outdone itself
With this product, competing companies making cameras really have to make an effort to beat this one. The camera itself offers a extrardinary beauty in its picture and really has a firm grasp in your hands.

A great camera
My first photos on this camera were portraits taken with a flash indoors at home in the evening, as the weather had been wet and cloudy all day. I was stunned by the detail in the facial features like hair, eyelashes and cracks on the lips etc.

Sony Alpha A77
Launched earlier this year, the Sony A77 is the flagship model in Sony's Single Lens Translucent (SLT) range. SLT cameras differ from traditional DSLRs in that the internal mirror is fixed in place rather than being hinged.
Pros:
- Fastest continuous shooting speed in its class
- Excellent image quality
- Generous range of HD movie recording options
- Lots of useful features and customisation options
- EVF is the best we've yet seen
Cons:
- EVF still not as good as a traditional viewfinder
