Sony NEX-7 review
In an opinion article last week , I stated that I didn't believe that compact system cameras would replace digital SLRs for serious photography, so with the inescapable power of Murphy's law, this week I find myself reviewing a CSC which could very well do just that.
Pros:
- Design
- Control system
- Image quality
- Performance
- Proving me wrong about CSCs
Cons:
- Price

My new Sony Nex-7
This camera is fantastic. Images are amazing. Control, handling, fantastic. I love not having to carry around all the bulk of a DSLR. So much technology in this too. In camera panorama stitching, HDR, and the list goes on. Extremely well built also. Feels like a brick.
Pros:

A great mirrorless system
I am a fine art photographer which includes landscapes and wanted a smaller camera to pack around on my hikes. I employ a Canon 5D MKII with all the heavy L lenses which is amazingly heavy!

Amazing Camera
Fantastic Camera!!! This camera makes my pictures look like they were taken by a professional. Best camera I've ever owned.

Awesome!!
Brought this camera on a trip in Asia and I LOVED IT!! Paranomic shots are awesome! Crystal clear pictures and videos. Easy to use and quick processing and face and smile detection was really quick. Zoom was awesome but could do a tad bit better too. Overall, it made my trip a lot more memorable.

Best in class
The Nex-7 is the last stop before a pro-sumer (professional consumer) level system. If you are already a pro looking for a smaller and extremely smart flexible in-hand system then this is your mark. Worth every penny! Loads of fun.

Cons:
- Running out of disk space because the pictures are too good to delete

Pocket Rocket
I’ve owned the Sony NEX7 for about four months now, and take it with me almost every time I go

- adapts to almost any lens

Fantastic array of features.
Coming from a Nikon E8800 bridge camera from 2004 ,using the Sony Nex 7 is a bit of a revelation.Fantastic resolution with a multitude of options for taking pictures which can be bewildering a bit for a novice.I bought David Busch's book on the Sony Nex 7 and this has proved very useful and has

Love it
Very good camera. Has a lot of features which may be good for someone who is familiar with digital pictures. Could be confusing for someone who looking for a simple point and shot camera. The lenses are amazing and lighter then my prior SLR camera.

Sony NEX-7
This is my second NEX-7, I liked my first one enough that I bought a second to keep as backup. When they first came out, there was an issue of the number of quality lenses for it, now from ultra wide-angle to long telephoto, there are enough quality lenses to satisfy most anyone.
Pros:
- Excellent viewfinder
- Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus
- Good Image Quality
- Good Image Stabilization
- Small Size
Cons:
- Short Battery Life
